Description
The SURVIVAL Marine Scale G First Aid Kit is based on the Australian AMSA* Scale G marine medical requirements and provides a comprehensive onboard first aid solution for coastal and offshore boating.
Suitable for recreational and many light commercial marine applications in New Zealand, this kit offers extensive first aid capability in a rugged waterproof system.
Commercial operators and offshore vessels should confirm any additional Maritime NZ Part 50 or Yachting New Zealand Category medical requirements that may apply to their operation.
The Marine Scale G First Aid Kit includes:
- A fully stocked SURVIVAL Workplace First Aid Kit
- Our specially designed SURVIVAL Marine Scale G Module
- Our award-winning First Aid Emergency Handbook
- An empty Module Bag for the storage of additional medicines
- A large SURVIVAL Waterproof Box is rugged and purpose built for marine environments. It can be padlocked for security (lock not provided). The pressure valve keeps it watertight, but prevents “vacuum lock” so it is easy to open in all conditions.
MOLLE straps allows the SURVIVAL Workplace Kit to be securely mounted in key locations on the vessel, such as in the cabin, wheelhouse, engine room, or on bulkheads, so it stays fixed, visible, and instantly accessible in rough conditions.
It can also be detached quickly for grab-and-go response on deck or in a tender.
The Marine Scale G Module, and the Module bag for storing additional medicines, can both be attached to convenient locations on the vessel using the 3 Carabiner style clips that each Kit bag has.
All of the Kits provide access to the free iFirstAid App, and this, and the comprehensive First Aid Emergency Handbook, give crew quick reference guidance for emergency response at sea.
Clear organisation, marine-suitable components, and durable construction make the SURVIVAL Scale Marine G Kit a practical, compliant, and highly dependable onboard safety system.
